Responsibility
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for robotic automation machines.
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical systems with control systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate designs.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during development and production.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in robotics and automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, CE).
