Responsibility
- Strategic Program Leadership: Oversee end-to-end delivery of semiconductor/engineering programs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and client expectations.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, risk management protocols, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, Agile, Waterfall).
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with global teams, vendors, and senior leadership to secure buy-in, resolve conflicts, and communicate progress transparently.
- Resource Optimization: Allocate budgets, timelines, and personnel efficiently to maximize ROI and minimize bottlenecks.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, adopt emerging technologies, and enhance project methodologies.
- Team Development: Mentor project managers and engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Reporting & Metrics: Develop KPIs, dashboards, and regular reports to track program health, milestones, and financial performance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product transitions from concept to market.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certification is a plus).
- Experience: 10+ years in project/program management, with at least 5 years in a directorial role (semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech industries preferred).
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, product lifecycle management (PLM), or engineering processes.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and lead teams of 50+ members across geographies.
- Tools & Methodologies: Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, SAP, or Primavera; expertise in Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages (e.g., German, Mandarin) are advantageous.
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally (10-20%) for stakeholder meetings or site visits.
