Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, components, and prototypes from concept to production.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance analyses to ensure project viability and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, and manufacturing) to integrate mechanical solutions into broader systems.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB) to model and optimize designs.
- Oversee prototyping, fabrication, and testing phases, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals for internal and client use.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and material efficiencies without compromising performance or safety.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, R&D, or manufacturing, with a portfolio of successful projects.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and FEA/CFD analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing processes (CNC, 3D printing, injection molding).
- Experience with project management (Agile, Waterfall) and compliance standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural teams and adapt to fast-paced, innovative environments.
