We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive innovation in high-impact infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems for cutting-edge data centres and large-scale developments. Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems for data centres, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and energy efficiency analyses to optimize system performance.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA).
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Oversee site inspections, commissioning, and testing to verify system functionality and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to obtain approvals and resolve technical issues.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in mechanical engineering and sustainable design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, LEED) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on data centres, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM software; experience with CFD or energy modeling tools is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of local and international codes (e.g., SNI, ASHRAE, IBC) and sustainability standards.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Bali and other regions as required.
