Responsibility
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) for construction projects.
- Ensure all mechanical systems comply with approved plans, local regulations, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA).
- Conduct site inspections and technical audits to verify system performance and adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, propose cost-effective solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for mechanical engineering deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to on-site teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for construction, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) and BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design and standards.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and international codes (e.g., IBC, NFPA).
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
