Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ACMV, fire protection, and plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Ensure all mechanical designs comply with Indonesian regulations (SNI), international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA), and client specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and system selections to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project designs.
- Oversee site inspections, testing, and commissioning to verify system functionality and compliance.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs using CAD and BIM software.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and sustainable practices in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in ACMV, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
- Proven track record of leading design and delivery for large-scale projects in Southeast Asia or similar markets.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM 360; familiarity with Energy Modeling software (e.g., IES, Carrier HAP) is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNI), ASHRAE, NFPA, and green building standards (LEED, Green Mark).
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and travel to project sites as needed.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong asset.
