Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical systems, components, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations, identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and other staff members as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, control panels, PLCs, wiring, and circuit breakers.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Certification in electrical safety, such as NFPA 70E or equivalent, is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
