Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement energy-efficient mechanical systems for resort operations, including HVAC, plumbing, and renewable energy solutions.
- Conduct energy audits and identify opportunities for cost savings and sustainability improvements.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate smart energy management systems and IoT technologies.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings for mechanical projects, ensuring alignment with local and international regulations.
- Monitor energy consumption patterns and recommend data-driven strategies to optimize efficiency.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PE, CEM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on energy systems, HVAC, or sustainability.
- Proven track record in designing and optimizing energy-efficient systems for commercial or hospitality environments.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, RETScreen).
- Strong knowledge of local and international energy codes (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO 50001).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
