Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and review of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and electrical (power distribution, lighting, low-voltage systems) schematics for large-scale projects.
- Ensure all M&E systems comply with local regulations, international codes, and client specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and energy modeling to optimize system performance and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee site inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting of M&E installations to guarantee operational excellence.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate M&E designs seamlessly into project blueprints.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams on best practices and emerging technologies.
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies, such as renewable energy integration and LEED-certified designs.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and progress updates to stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in M&E design for buildings, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or Dialux and other industry-standard software.
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNIs) and international standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE).
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary projects from concept to completion.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal) for client and team coordination.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sustainable design principles is highly desirable.
