Responsibility
- Lead Lean Transformation: Spearhead the adoption of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement frameworks to eliminate inefficiencies in manufacturing processes.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement integrated manufacturing systems that enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and improve cost-effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless alignment of production goals with business objectives.
- Problem-Solving Leadership: Drive root-cause analysis (RCA) and data-driven decision-making to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
- Change Management: Foster a culture of innovation and accountability by training and mentoring teams in Lean principles and agile methodologies.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor KPIs (e.g., OEE, cycle time, defect rates) to track progress and ensure operational targets are met.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, IoT, automation) to future-proof production lines.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and PROTON’s safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in manufacturing leadership, with at least 5 years in a Senior Manager or Director-level role overseeing process integration.
- Lean Expertise: Proven track record in implementing Lean, TPS (Toyota Production System), or Six Sigma methodologies in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in value stream mapping, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and DFMEA/PFMEA. Familiarity with ERP/MES systems is advantageous.
- Leadership: Strong ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to process improvement.
- Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the ability to present complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the automotive, heavy machinery, or electronics manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
