Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings, ensuring compliance with local and international codes (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC).
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and feasibility studies to determine system requirements and sustainability metrics.
- Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Perform site inspections and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and ensure operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., smart building systems, renewable energy integration) and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support team development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, LEED) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in MEP design for building systems, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or Dialux and other industry-standard design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards (e.g., Green Building Council Indonesia).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience liaising with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
