Responsibility
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and modules for advanced machinery and mechatronic applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototyping to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Perform stress analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and other engineering calculations to ensure design robustness and reliability.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in machinery design, mechatronic module design, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME) is a plus.
