Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures for precast concrete production to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, production processes, and finished precast products to verify structural integrity and quality.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken promptly.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality control findings, including non-conformance reports, test results, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all precast products meet regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, or local codes), and client expectations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they adhere to quality standards.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on quality control challenges and solutions, contributing to project success.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in precast technology, quality control methodologies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the civil engineering or precast concrete industry.
- Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes, materials, and quality control standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, or local regulations).
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and equipment, such as non-destructive testing (NDT) devices, moisture meters, and strength testing machines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and project management.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS) (e.g., ISO 9001) or relevant industry certifications is a plus.
