Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on John Deere and other agricultural equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication, to ensure equipment reliability.
- Repair or replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities using digital or paper-based systems.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics on best practices, safety protocols, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during repairs and maintenance.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools to support efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with agricultural or heavy machinery.
- Certification or vocational training in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with John Deere equipment or similar agricultural machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment and tools.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining digital records and using diagnostic software.
- Willingness to work in Bali and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
