Responsibility
- Lead and execute R&D projects focused on chemical process optimization and new product development.
- Design and conduct laboratory experiments, analyze data, and generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with production teams to scale up prototypes and ensure seamless transition to manufacturing.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols to maintain product consistency and compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in chemical engineering.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in chemical processes to improve efficiency and safety.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in R&D, preferably in a chemical plant or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of chemical synthesis, process design, and analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS, spectroscopy).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or statistical software).
- Experience with pilot-scale or commercial production is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, or other industry standards for chemical manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
