Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Low Voltage (LT), Switchgear, and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into broader project plans.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for electrical projects, proposing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including schematics, reports, and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on LT, Switchgear, and HV systems.
- Proven track record of leading electrical projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
- Experience with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
