Responsibility
- Assist in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of power distribution systems, including substations, switchgear, and transformers.
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve power-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to plan and execute maintenance schedules and emergency repairs.
- Monitor power consumption and system performance, reporting anomalies or potential risks.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new power equipment and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in power maintenance, electrical systems, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
- Familiarity with power distribution systems, substations, and electrical safety standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment for electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by operational needs.
- Certification in electrical safety (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) is a plus.
