Responsibility
- Develop and implement material planning strategies to align with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure cost-effective stock management while meeting operational needs.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to streamline material flow and reduce lead times.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve supply chain disruptions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, material shortages, and procurement activities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex supply chain data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier relationships and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with demand forecasting, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and lean inventory principles.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are highly desirable.
