Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery timelines for water treatment materials and equipment.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor performance evaluations to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels efficiently.
- Monitor market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate supply chain risks through data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, KPIs, and budget forecasts to senior management for strategic planning.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by sourcing eco-friendly materials and promoting ethical procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or professional certification in procurement is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or water treatment industries.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with Indonesian procurement regulations and experience working with local suppliers is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with a results-driven mindset.
