Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily unloading operations for trucks, containers, and other shipment vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during all unloading activities.
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of unloading operators to meet productivity targets.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, discrepancies, or shortages and report findings accurately.
- Operate and maintain unloading equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure seamless transition of goods from unloading to storage.
- Train and mentor new team members on best practices for efficient and safe unloading.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on unloading activities, including volumes, delays, and incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation (e.g., forklifts).
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) as required.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and inventory management systems.
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
