Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate supplier deliveries to ensure on-time material availability for production schedules.
- Monitor and manage supplier payment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reducing excess stock and minimizing shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to align material requirements with budget constraints.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and recommend improvements or alternative sources when necessary.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, including process automation and digital tools.
- Resolve material-related discrepancies and escalate issues to stakeholders with actionable solutions.
- Prepare and present reports on material flow, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material control, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software.
- Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables) and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
