Responsibility
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process deviations or defects using methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to introduce new products (NPI) and ensure seamless transition to mass production.
- Design and validate process improvements through DOE (Design of Experiments), statistical analysis, and prototyping.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, PFMEAs, and control plans in compliance with ISO/TS standards.
- Train and mentor production staff and junior engineers on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, cycle time) and drive data-driven decisions to meet operational targets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in automation, Industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably in electronics, automotive, or high-precision industries.
- Proven expertise in process validation, SPC, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, TPM).
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software, MES systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Python, SQL).
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of reducing waste and improving efficiency.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong communication and leadership skills.
