Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and optimize precision machining processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and product quality.
- Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and jigs for high-precision manufacturing applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and propose sustainable solutions to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other precision equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline manufacturing workflows.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and company quality management systems.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in precision machining.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in precision machining, CNC programming, or manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) and CNC machine operation.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and metrology tools.
- Experience with process optimization, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with strong communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, automation) is advantageous.
