Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance laser systems for industrial, medical, and scientific applications
- Engineer and test networking components and optical systems to meet stringent performance and reliability standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate laser and networking technologies into end-to-end solutions
- Conduct advanced simulations and modeling to predict system performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in laser and networking systems
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test reports, and design reviews
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in photonics, laser technology, and optical networking to drive innovation
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on key projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in laser systems, photonics, or optical networking engineering
- Proven expertise in designing and testing laser systems or networking components
- Strong background in optical simulations (e.g., Zemax, Code V, or similar tools)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++ for system modeling and automation
- Experience with high-speed optical communication systems or fiber optics is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus
