Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize lithography processes for high-precision lens mastering, ensuring alignment with production scalability and quality standards.
- Lead process validation and troubleshooting to resolve defects, improve yield, and enhance repeatability in optical component manufacturing.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate new materials, tools, and techniques into existing workflows.
- Conduct DOE (Design of Experiments) and statistical analysis to identify process improvements and reduce variability.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials for lithography operations.
- Monitor and optimize equipment performance, including alignment, calibration, and maintenance of lithography systems.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality, through process efficiency and waste minimization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in lithography and optical manufacturing to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in lithography process development, preferably in optical or semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, DOE, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Hands-on experience with lithography equipment (e.g., step-and-repeat, direct-write, or mask aligners) and metrology tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in CAD, MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW for process simulation and automation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
