Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and validation of test hardware systems for semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring alignment with R&D and production goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process of test hardware, from prototyping to mass production, with a focus on cost, quality, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, operations, quality assurance) to integrate test solutions into production lines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test hardware performance, reduce defects, and optimize yield.
- Mentor and manage a team of hardware engineers, fostering technical growth and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement standardized testing protocols and documentation for compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF).
- Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven testing, automation) and recommend innovations to maintain Infineonâs competitive edge.
- Ensure timely project delivery within budget, while mitigating risks and resolving technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in test hardware design for semiconductor/automotive/electronics industries, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in PCB design, FPGA/ASIC testing, and automated test equipment (ATE) (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest).
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer testing, final test, and reliability validation.
- Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium, Cadence) and programming languages (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW).
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex hardware projects on time.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities in a global environment.
