Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee the post-contract management process, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies for cost control, claims resolution, and timely payment collections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and project management, to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract performance, financial exposure, and legal compliance.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Negotiate and resolve disputes with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to protect the company's interests.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all contract-related activities, including variations, claims, and payments.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the contract management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, PMP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in contract management, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
  • Proven experience in cost control, claims management, and payment collections.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex contract documents and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
