As a QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance and control procedures, including inspection, sampling, and testing protocols. Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC procedures for construction projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections, sampling, and testing of materials, workmanship, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with quality benchmarks.
- Provide technical guidance and training to site teams on QA/QC best practices and protocols.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Participate in pre-construction and progress meetings to review quality plans and address potential risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry, preferably with large-scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, SNI) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Certification in QA/QC (e.g., ASQ, IRCA) or similar is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in using testing equipment, inspection tools, and QA/QC software (e.g., Primavera, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively report findings and recommend solutions.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
