Responsibility
- Oversee daily construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on progress, risks, and compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and logistical issues.
- Ensure all construction materials and methodologies meet industry and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and enforce workplace safety protocols in accordance with local and international standards.
- Liaise with government authorities and stakeholders for permits, inspections, and approvals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including as-built drawings, change orders, and project logs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and site personnel.
Qualifications
- Accredited Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certification by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or equivalent.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in construction site supervision.
- Profound knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
