Responsibility
- Prepare, monitor, and update project cost reports and financial forecasts for construction projects across Bali
- Conduct regular cost analysis and variance reporting to ensure projects remain within approved budgets
- Review and evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders for financial impact
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to implement cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions
- Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates for new project bids
- Conduct site visits to verify work progress and validate payment applications
- Maintain comprehensive cost databases and historical data for future project estimating
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and Indonesian construction regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering for construction projects
- Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar) and MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of Indonesian construction contracts and procurement processes
- Experience with FIDIC or other international contract forms is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Certification from RICS, AIQS, or similar professional body is desirable
