Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of data management and analytics strategies to support clinical and operational decision-making.
- Oversee the implementation of advanced analytics, AI, and cloud-based solutions to enhance patient care and hospital efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT, clinical, and administrative teams to integrate data-driven insights into hospital workflows and processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards, including HIPAA and local regulations.
- Drive the adoption of predictive analytics and machine learning models to improve clinical outcomes and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards and reporting tools for stakeholders at all levels.
- Mentor and lead a team of data analysts and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in healthcare analytics and technology, recommending strategic investments and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Proven expertise in advanced analytics, AI, machine learning, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex data projects from inception to implementation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Certifications in data management, analytics, or healthcare informatics (e.g., CDMP, PMP, or similar) are a plus.
