Join Hilton, a global leader in hospitality, as a Senior Manager, Human Resources – South East Asia on a 6-month contract (maternity cover). This pivotal role supports the SEA HR Operations function, ensuring seamless HR service delivery across our dynamic regional portfolio. Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations for Hilton’s South East Asia properties, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local regulations.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, with a focus on fair and consistent outcomes.
- Lead talent acquisition initiatives, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for key roles across the region.
- Develop and implement HR programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
- Partner with regional leaders to address workforce planning needs, including succession planning and organizational design.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and Hilton’s internal policies, conducting audits and risk assessments as needed.
- Drive HR analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on strategic HR initiatives and change management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a multinational or hospitality environment.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, labor law compliance, and HR operations in South East Asia.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cultures and hierarchies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional Asian languages are advantageous).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, contract-based role.
- Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices is highly desirable.
