Join People Profilers as a Senior Manager – Group Workplace Safety & Health and lead safety excellence for a A1 Main Contractor in high-impact infrastructure construction projects across Bali. Based in the vibrant Badung region (covering Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all projects adhere to local and international OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) regulations. Your expertise will be pivotal in mitigating risks, conducting audits, and implementing best practices to safeguard our workforce and stakeholders.

Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures for infrastructure projects.
- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with local (e.g., Indonesian OSH laws) and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations, providing actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety protocols into all phases of construction.
- Deliver safety training programs and workshops to educate employees on best practices, emergency response, and PPE usage.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to safety performance, including near-miss incidents, injury rates, and compliance metrics.
- Liaise with government authorities (e.g., Ministry of Manpower) and certification bodies to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Champion a culture of safety through leadership engagement, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or NEBOSH/IOSH certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in WSH management, with at least 5 years in a senior/leadership role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of managing safety programs for large-scale projects (preferably as a Main Contractor).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian OSH regulations (e.g., UU No. 1/1970, Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international standards (OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Strong auditing, incident investigation, and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence behavior at all organizational levels.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent are highly desired.
