Responsibility

  • Lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the business divestiture, ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the transition of accounting systems, processes, and teams to the new entity or buyer, minimizing disruption.
  • Conduct financial due diligence, including asset/liability valuation, contract reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement transition service agreements (TSAs) and related financial controls.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, and operational teams to ensure seamless separation of financial functions.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, providing transparent updates on financial impacts and transition progress.
  • Optimize accounting workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance during and after the transition.
  • Mentor and guide finance teams through the change, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a strong plus.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or M&A, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in business divestitures, carve-outs, or post-merger integration within a multinational corporation.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial controls, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in the semiconductor, manufacturing, or technology sector is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.
