The Academy of Medicine, Singapore is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Management Support Officer to join the Joint Committee on Specialist Training (JCST). Appointed by the Specialist Accreditation Board, the JCST plays a pivotal role in overseeing the accreditation of specialist training programs, ensuring the highest standards in medical education and professional development.
In this dynamic role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the JCST, facilitating seamless coordination between stakeholders, committees, and training institutions. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and integrity of specialist training accreditation processes in Singapore’s medical landscape.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the administrative processes for specialist training program accreditation, including documentation, scheduling, and compliance tracking.
- Liaise with medical institutions, training bodies, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with JCST standards and requirements.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and reports for JCST committees and working groups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accreditation statuses, training program evaluations, and related correspondence.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines for specialist training accreditation.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of required materials from training programs and institutions.
- Provide logistical support for site visits, inspections, and accreditation reviews, including travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues related to accreditation processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative support, preferably within a medical, academic, or regulatory environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management or CRM systems.
- Familiarity with accreditation processes, quality assurance frameworks, or regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is a plus.
