Responsibility
- Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment performance metrics.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP) to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Perform calibration and validation of equipment to meet quality assurance standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency support for critical equipment failures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and industrial automation.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and predictive maintenance tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and GMP.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document procedures and train team members.
