Responsibility

  • Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, spare parts usage, and equipment performance metrics.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP) to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Perform calibration and validation of equipment to meet quality assurance standards.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency support for critical equipment failures.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and industrial automation.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and predictive maintenance tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and GMP.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document procedures and train team members.
