Responsibility
- Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs for advanced manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and extended asset lifespan.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electromechanical issues, minimizing unscheduled downtime and production interruptions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades, process improvements, and automation enhancements.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and technical reports.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and company safety standards, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting electromechanical systems, PLCs, and automation equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance principles, predictive maintenance techniques, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software for work order management and asset tracking.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
