Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for industrial gas production, storage, and distribution systems.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule and execute shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency repairs with minimal operational disruption.
- Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO) in all maintenance activities.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships for specialized maintenance services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history.
- Optimize spare parts inventory and procurement strategies to reduce downtime and operational costs.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians on best practices in industrial maintenance and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering within industrial gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven expertise in maintenance planning, predictive maintenance, and reliability engineering.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.
- Proficiency in CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to shifting priorities.
