Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair emergency breakdowns in food manufacturing machinery to minimize production downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and food industry standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or equipment upgrades.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of food processing machinery and automation systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and CMMS software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification in food safety or industrial maintenance is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a 5-day workweek schedule.
