Responsibility
- Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs (G-code, M-code) for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining centers to improve efficiency and precision.
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cycle times and material waste.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot machining issues, adjust parameters, and ensure consistent quality control (GD&T, SPC).
- Design and validate fixtures, jigs, and tooling to enhance machining accuracy and repeatability.
- Conduct time-motion studies and capacity analysis to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Train and mentor operators on best practices for machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Stay updated with advancements in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks) and machining technologies.
- Prepare technical documentation, including process sheets, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining process engineering, preferably in precision manufacturing or aerospace/automotive industries.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, NX) and G-code programming.
- Strong knowledge of machining parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cut) for materials like aluminum, steel, and composites.
- Experience with metrology tools (CMM, optical comparators) and quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is beneficial.
