Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy machine vision software and algorithms for industrial automation, robotics, and AI applications.
- Lead research and development in computer vision, deep learning, and image processing to solve complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define vision system requirements and integrate solutions into production environments.
- Optimize vision algorithms for real-time performance, accuracy, and scalability in resource-constrained environments.
- Manage end-to-end vision projects, from concept to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., 3D vision, hyperspectral imaging, edge AI) to enhance system capabilities.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to best practices in vision system development.
- Document technical specifications, test protocols, and user manuals for vision solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in machine vision, computer vision, or image processing, with a focus on industrial applications.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, OpenCV, HALCON, or similar vision libraries.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) for vision tasks (e.g., object detection, segmentation).
- Strong knowledge of camera calibration, lighting techniques, and optical systems for machine vision.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g., GigE Vision, GenICam, OPC UA) and hardware integration.
- Proven ability to manage technical projects and work in Agile/Scrum environments.
