Responsibility
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment in the plant.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and provide timely, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing processes and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all plant operations.
- Design and modify mechanical components or systems to support production goals.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and maintenance logs for audit and review.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing or industrial plant setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and MS Office tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA, ISO) and quality control processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in English.
