Responsibility
- Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for M&E components of construction projects.
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and contract agreements for M&E works.
- Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality or compliance.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets and timely payments to subcontractors/suppliers.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve cost-related disputes and variations.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for M&E procurement and installation.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Provide monthly cost reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years in a senior role focusing on M&E systems.
- Proven experience working with A1 Main Contractors or large-scale construction firms.
- Strong knowledge of M&E cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract law (FIDIC, NEC, or similar).
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market practices is a plus.
- MRICS or equivalent professional certification is highly advantageous.
