Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including target identification, financial due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring.
- Develop and present investment theses, pitch books, and financial models to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Negotiate terms with counterparties, including SPAs, SHAs, and financing agreements, to maximize client value.
- Mentor and manage a team of analysts and associates, providing technical guidance and career development.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks for clients.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and operational teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Build and maintain client relationships with C-suite executives, investors, and financial institutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging M&A strategies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of M&A experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or management consulting.
- Proven track record of leading transactions (buy-side, sell-side, or mergers) with deal sizes of $50M+.
- Strong financial modeling skills (DCF, LBO, trading comps) and proficiency in valuation methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in cross-border transactions and familiarity with Asian markets is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
