Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to optimize international freight and transportation networks.
- Analyze carrier performance, costs, and service levels to recommend improvements and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain KPIs, including transit times, delivery accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Leverage data analytics tools to forecast demand, capacity, and resource requirements.
- Stay updated on global trade regulations, customs compliance, and industry best practices.
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance process automation and digital transformation in logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain analysis, with a focus on international freight.
- Proven expertise in carrier management, route optimization, and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work with global teams and vendors.
- Knowledge of incoterms, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a problem-solving mindset.
