Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategies to expand Centrica’s LNG counterparty network in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including long-term supply agreements and spot market transactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including producers, traders, and end-users.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the LNG sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to structure and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Represent Centrica at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Monitor regulatory and policy developments affecting the LNG market and advise on potential impacts.
- Prepare and present business cases, market reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in LNG trading, origination, or commercial roles.
- Proven track record of successfully originating and closing LNG deals.
- Strong understanding of LNG market dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and contract structures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet business objectives.
- Fluency in English; additional Asian languages are a plus.
