Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable Linux-based network infrastructures.
- Deploy and manage network security solutions using tools like Cilium, Suricata, nftables, and Zeek.
- Configure and maintain firewalls (Cisco, Forti, Checkpoint, Palo Alto) and routing & switching (L2) solutions.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in network security and Linux infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Linux Engineer with a focus on network security and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of NixOS, Cilium, Suricata, nftables, and Zeek.
- Experience with firewall configurations (Cisco, Forti, Checkpoint, Palo Alto) and routing & switching (L2).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical processes clearly.
- Certifications in Linux (e.g., RHCE, LPIC) or network security (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
