Responsibility
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contracts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including agreements, policies, and regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian and international laws, particularly in agriculture, real estate, and labor regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks by conducting thorough due diligence and implementing proactive strategies.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, disputes, and negotiations with external parties, including government agencies and business partners.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on legal obligations, best practices, and company policies.
- Monitor legislative changes and industry trends to advise on potential impacts and recommend adjustments to business practices.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and consultants to manage complex legal matters efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; a Master’s degree or additional certifications (e.g., PERADI) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in agriculture, real estate, or a related industry.
- Proven expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance within Indonesia.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) is mandatory; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is highly desirable.
