Responsibility
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements, including M&A, joint ventures, and shareholder agreements.
- Provide legal advice on technology transactions, data privacy, and intellectual property matters.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for corporate clients.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure deals and mitigate legal risks.
- Advise startups and established businesses on corporate governance and regulatory issues.
- Stay updated on emerging legal trends in technology, fintech, and commercial law.
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to the firmās knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with 3+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or technology law (Singapore or Indonesian bar admission preferred).
- Strong understanding of M&A, corporate restructuring, and commercial contracts.
- Experience with technology-related legal issues (e.g., data privacy, SaaS agreements, IP licensing).
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high professional standards.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are a plus.
