Responsibility
- Lead and manage all phases of complex litigation, including pre-litigation assessments, discovery, motions, trials, and settlements.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to minimize risk and protect the company’s legal and financial interests.
- Collaborate with internal legal teams, external counsel, and business units to ensure aligned and effective legal responses.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to Indonesian corporate, commercial, and labor laws.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide actionable advice to senior management.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements, contracts, and legal documents to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Monitor and report on litigation trends, costs, and outcomes to inform business decisions and risk management.
- Represent the company in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a reputable university; PERADI certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role within a corporate or law firm setting.
- Proven track record of handling high-value, complex commercial litigation in Indonesia.
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian civil, commercial, and corporate law, as well as dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills with the ability to think strategically under pressure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, contract law, and risk management is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
